£30,000 - £35,000 per Annum: London

Incredible opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a well established MSP / IT company based in London. Our client is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide on going technical support on Windows 7 / 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server. The successful candidate will split their time between the office, and client sites in / around London (no drivers license needed). They're looking for individuals that are keen to learn new skills and develop within the company.

  • External User / Customer Support Experience

Role Requirements

Our client is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer who has previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider, or similar Technology company experience (exposure supporting external users / customers). The successful candidate will need to have communication skills, and be comfortable working within a client facing role.

The 2nd Line Support Engineer would be responsible for:

  • Providing on site IT support
  • Providing remote IT Support
  • Managing client expectations
  • Acting as both initial point of contact and as a point of escalation for technical issues
  • Working with external clients to resolve queries and support tasks
  • Communicating with technical and non technical users

Benefits

  • Starting Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
  • Pension contribution

This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer who has a strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016, and experience supporting external users / customers.
