3 days remote .Net Developer (ASP.Net, MVC, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SQL) - NEWPORT - 30k - Xamarin Training, Salary DOE, Private Medical Care, 25 days holiday, Pension Scheme, Onsite Parking and traffic away from Cardiff City Centre, opportunity for global travel.

*This role will be 2 days a week in the office ONLY from 1 month probation period. You just need to spend the first full month in the office, and then will be allowed the 3 days remote.

The Role

This role is aimed for a strong Junior - Mid Level Developer (ASP.Net, C#, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SQL) however, anyone with 1 year's commercial experience will be considered. If you have more, you're a bonus candidate! In terms of what you will be working on, this client has global clients across the world which utilise their cutting-edge products. They are currently working on a large scale web application and they continue to be in high demand by their global clients. Your work will be mainly web based but you might also touch on some design- either way you will be involved in the full development lifecycle gaining exposure to processes and procedures from draw up to launch. It will be important that you have knowledge of and strong project management skills to enable the projects to be released and launched on time. With this in mind, it is important that you have strong communication skills, can work well both in a team and alone and have a proactive nature about you. You will play an integral part in upcoming projects and assist the team in visualising and analysing alternate solutions whilst making educated decisions. You should be able to demonstrate and implement good web and app development practices and secure code. You will be exposed to project and time management practises ensuring that you have an all-rounded knowledge to ensure that you develop or continue you career as a Strong Professional. As well as the opportunity to learn Xamarin!

As a .Net Developer, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring key developments are built and implemented in-line with the business objectives and specifications. Working on exciting, local, national and international brands as well as working on their own products. You'll work closely with all members of the Agile team, including a group of other .Net Developers, to deliver high-quality code that is tested and delivered across the full the Software Development Life Cycle. A natural logical thinker would be a good skill- with the ability to resolve problems, research solutions and draw on expertise.


The ideal .Net Developer will be somebody who's a bit of an all-rounder, who can roll up their sleeves to get stuck in. And just as importantly, you'll be a good human. They're a friendly bunch…
