Account Manager - York, North Yorkshire - Up to £28,000

In this tech-focused business, as an Account Manager, you will be dealing with inbound enquiries, overseeing and nurturing relationships with exciting and well recognised clients. Account Manager - York, North Yorkshire - Up to £28,000

About the role:

  • Cementing strong relationships with clients. This may require travel around the UK and overseas (primarily London)
  • Communicating with clients regularly in order to gather feedback, request sign off, cross sell and up sell services and ensure they are 100% satisfied with the ongoing work
  • Assessing requirements and identifying scope - applying a consultative approach to deal with requests that may be unrealistic or not in their best interests. You should feel confident in your ability to do so whilst maintaining a strong relationship
  • Producing feature documents and working alongside the business analysts and UX designers to proactively propose solutions and respond to requests to ensure the backlog is healthy
  • Working with the internal team to manage priorities, scheduling, identify issues (or potential issues) and suggest solutions - which you then work to implement.
  • Overseeing all projects and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency in a growing and dynamic team.
  • Quality assurance - ensuring that the work being delivered works as expected and that our high levels of quality are maintained in all deliverables.
  • Ensuring ultimate organisation - a meticulous attention to detail and somebody with unparalleled organisational skills. You should enjoy being organised, and be great at multi tasking.

About you (ideally):

  • Demonstrable prior experience of account management or project management, ideally within a digital agency
  • Experience with the following: WordPress, Google Docs, Google Apps, Jira, Slack
  • Ability to build strong relationships both face to face and over the phone with both customers and colleagues
  • Enjoy technology, and be able to grasp new technologies quickly with direction
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Highly beneficial if you have any experience with:

  • Experience with agile development
  • Be an avid user of tech - keeping up to the date with the latest technology trends
  • Experience in a similar role in a tech focused business (Digital Project Manager, Technological Account Manager, IT Recruiter, Digital Account Manager / Executive)
  • Experience with online marketing via various social media channels
