Agile Delivery Manager x 2 - E-Commerce

Oscar Technology are partnered with one our long-standing e-commerce clients, supporting their search for several new Agile Delivery Managers to support their ongoing evolution towards 'Agility'

They are 2 years into an Agile adoption process, which has seen them introduce scaled Agile into their business and reorganise their delivery teams into the Squads, Tribes and Chapters model. Their practices are continuing to evolve with them increasingly moving their technology stack away from COTS platforms and monolithic architectures, to developing their own API driven services, based around AWS-hosted microservices.

The business are still evolving into a Agile-led firm so you'll be bringing external expertise and knowledge to help continuous refine and improve Lean Agile practices, with within your Squads but also in collaboration with your peers. You will recognise how to apply Lean Agile practices in a pragmatic fashion (not people who's head explodes if things are done exactly like the Agile manifesto suggests!) and be an expert in building consensus with your teams and the wider business.

The roles have a common requirement: a need to understand what good looks like with an Agile delivery model in practice BUT a recognition that this is a business on a journey and there is a process of maturity taking place here - sometimes you just need to 'get sh*t done'

Minimum Requirements for the role:

  • Excellent spoken & written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of working in Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of what good Agile should look like, but able to apply it pragmatically
  • Capable of moving between operating as a Scrum Master facilitating the needs of squad, but also applying some of governance of traditional PM
  • Strong consensus building skills

The company are based 5 minute walk from Piccadilly station and post-Covid you can expect to enjoy flexible core hours, along with the ability work from home 2-3 days a week

Package

25% Annual Bonus Potential
Health Insurance
24 days Holiday
Good pension scheme
