Application Security Specialist

**Security Organization is currently seeking Application Security Specialists to join their growing team. DIRECT HIRE.**

Responsibilities:

Application Penetration Testing (manual & automated testing)

Source Code Review

DAST & SAST

Interfacing with the business users to determine and understand their needs

Deployment of testing tools

Threat Modeling

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

Reviewing Security Architecture

Recommending new procedures and policies on an as needed basis

Mentoring & guiding junior team members

Skills/Experience/Education Preferred (not all required):

Penetration Testing of applications (manual & automated testing)

Source Code Review

Design/Architecture Review

Previous software/application development experience

Experience with application security tools (DAST, SAST, IAST, OSA, etc.)

Cloud experience (Amazon Web Services, Azure, etc.)

Containers experience (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

Infrastructure as code experience (Chef, Ansible, Vagrant, Terraform, etc.)

Experience with different development or scripting languages (c#, java, c/c++, python, bash, batch, perl, shell, etc.)

Any of the following security certifications is a plus: GWAPT, CWAPT, CSSLP, GSSP-JAVA, GSSP-.NET, GMOB, GPEN, eWPTX, eWPT, eCPPT, eJPT, eMAPT, OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWP, CSWAE, CEPT, CPTE, CPTC, CPT, LPT, GXPN, CEH, ECSA
