The Role

A great opportunity to join a growing company as an Application Support Analyst - you will be supporting the development of the company's key core products and software. You will be working in a close-knit team, alongside all members of development and support in an AGILE environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Web Application Support and Development of our maintenance management software, by becoming an expert in all aspects of the application.
  • Delivering support to existing customer users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries.
  • Developing, where agreed and feasible, customisations to the application.
  • Management of the support queue.
  • Triage of support requests.
  • Re-creating and validating support issues.
  • Client communications.
  • Working with the IT function and customers in identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements and development.
  • Monitor the application nothing problems and identifying performance trends. Take corrective action to improve performance and to avoid problems arising.
  • Document work, take part in user meetings and assist in presenting issues and solutions.
  • Define acceptance tests for new or changed functionality.
