The company

You will be working for a company which has shown huge amounts of growth. Over the last 5 years they have gone from 100 to 350 people and with new product lines due for launch there is a huge amount of further growth on the way with plans to get to 500 people in the near future.

Tech is leading the charge and has allowed them to become a genuine market leader in their field. Trading is now back up to pre-covid levels, the pandemic hasn't negatively affected the business in anyway, it may have slowed their growth plans but those are now being progressed and they are recruiting for multiple new hires.

The Role

Working within a small team you will be expected to provide accurate, timely information that will affect key business decisions.

We are looking for a BI Developer / Data Analyst with excellent SQL and Reporting Skills, currently the company use a mix of SSRS and Power BI for their reporting but going forward it will be predominantly Power BI.

They do also have a brand-new data-warehouse which is currently "part implemented" and a key part of the BI Teams mandate is to get this fully implemented and optimised.

For this role we do not need "load of experience" we are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, develop and apply their craft in a collaborative setting.

The Team

Over the last 12 years the BI / Data Team has tripled in size and it has had to just to keep pace with the growth of the business and further growth in the team is forecast. Rough estimates would be 4 new hires per year for the next 2 years


  • Transforming and centralising raw data from multiple platforms into user friendly reporting data
  • Development of insightful Dashboards and presentation of those to stakeholders
  • Gathering of requirements for new MI
  • Automating of business critical reports.
  • Technical Development of the Data Warehouse
  • Maintain the ETL process to meet organisational reporting needs
  • Troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Continuously evaluate the relevant and suitability of technologies and provide recommendations and benefits to such tools.
  • Assists in updates and upgrades of the BI environment.
  • Liaising with non-technical users to understand and solve data requirements.
  • To deliver and refine high quality and relevant BI solutions to drive a performance management culture.
  • Writes, validates, and executes test plans for BI solutions and applications.
