Business Analyst

Oscar Technology are partnering with a constantly expanding Digital Agency based in Edinburgh that are growing their Business Analyst function and are looking to a Technical Business Analyst to their team.

Reporting into the Project Director, working in sprints, your role will involve a lot of classic BA work around requirements gathering with stakeholders but also working with a new client in an incredibly exciting life science, finance and tech industries.

As a Business Analyst, you'll engage with clients to understand and map business processes, user journeys and flows, as well as helping our clients understand data dependencies and system or other project impacts. You'll be skilled at capturing requirements from many different stakeholder types, gathering metrics on current operations and have an ability to clearly articulate client pain points.

Career Development

Business Analysts have several career paths available to them at our client; over the next 12-18 months as the BA team expands, there is the opportunity of heading up a team of their own as the Senior BA.

Required experience

Strong Ecommerce,B2B knowledge, ideally able to talk tech with developers & help to map API's for integration projects
Experience of turning requirements into User Stories & breaking those down into EPICS
Experience of Story Slicing
Good knowledge of Scrum
Good stakeholder management skills
Excellent consensus building skills
