BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | LONDON / HOME BASED | UP TO £45,000

Working in partnership with a world renowned Cloud based solution provider. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to work with the Head of Marketing & Sales within the EMEA region. They want someone who can convert an opportunity into a successful sale with ease, through methods such as strategized account targeting.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You have previously worked as a Business Development Representative, Telesales Executive or similar
  • You have a proven track record of achieving qualified meeting targets based on sales accepting your meetings
  • You have extensive experience in outbound sales lead development targeting IT/CIOs
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication
  • You have a can-do proactive attitude, and are a motivated self starter
  • You can build long term relationships with prospects
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calling
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple marketing campaigns
  • You are a black belt with Salesforce and experience with CRM's
  • You know how to use online database tools such as Data.com, OneSource, LinkedIn Nav
  • You must be familiar with GDPR and understand how it plays a big part of the qualification process
  • Technical background is highly desirable

The Role

  • Follow-up and accurate qualification of inbound inquiries and marketing campaign leads
  • Maintaining and leveraging the database of prospects to effectively identify new targets for sales and marketing
  • Strong focus on customer experience ensuring a smooth transition to the field sales team
  • Outbound calls are split: New (90%) and Existing (10%)
  • Ability to gather key information and insight into target companies from multiple sources such as the internet, LinkedIn, reports
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads
  • Building relationships with decision makers at C-Level in target accounts
