OSCAR are looking for a Data Administrator to join a friendly and motivated team of web designers, developers and marketers and help them deliver their performant solutions. The Role

For this role you will have some experience working with data so that you can be at home manipulating spreadsheets and ensuring content is well-formatted, well-presented, and of high quality to help the company's client migrate or update their product catalogues, customer and other information.

As part of the role, you'll be given training and support to help learn Magento (no prior experience is required) and in time begin to support integration and configuration of services commonly used by merchants, such as payments, shipping, tax, email and reviews services and more, gaining valuable and reusable expertise with the platform.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, format and manipulate CSV files to aid with data import/export with Magento 2, most often in relation to new, full-build Magento 2 projects
  • g. products, attributes, categories, customers and more
  • Perform checks and undertake quality assurance on data imports
  • Assist and lead with the configuration of key Magento 2 store setup, such as tax, shipping and payments
  • Manage and oversee common integrations with third-party solutions, such as customer reviews, external shipping providers and simple order fulfilment processes (e.g. order exports/updates)
  • Provide estimates and ensure work stays within budget
  • Communicate regularly with team members to ensure smooth delivery of work, especially where others are dependent on your work, or vice versa

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Adept with spreadsheets and data manipulation (CSVs in particular)
  • Great attention to detail (ensure data quality/integrity)
  • Be able to think logically and use your initiative, and utilise this to help debug data problems that may arise
  • Be able to work and collaborate as part of a team
  • Be able to guide and train merchants on how to manage their data

DESIRABLE (but not necessary) SKILLS:

  • eCommerce background/understanding
  • Basic Magento product knowledge/experience
  • Knowledge/experience of SQL, in particular, MySQL
