The company:

I've partnered with a multinational sports retailer that are looking to scale out their UK data team as their UK presence continues its upwards trajectory! You will be a key part in their data transformation journey, developing data-driven solutions needed for the numeric transformation. Joining a well-rounded team of three going on five in the Data team within London, you will work closely with neighbouring Data teams over in Europe to find the best data visulisation solutions, create data-driven recommendations, automate recurring requests and will be in charge of data monitoring on in/out put data of algorithms!

Your responsibilities as a Data Analyst:

  • Strengthening the quality of the solutions developed by performing pre/post modelling analyses.
  • Heading up the data monitoring on the input and output data of the algorithms to ensure their stability and avoid complications.
  • Carrying out Data Analysis and relaying information to other areas of the business to assist them in interpreting results and making key business decisions.
  • Automating recurring requests and creating proposals on the analysis carried out.
  • Analysing global customer behaviour and interpreting data driven recommendations based on the outcome.
  • Implementing the prime data visualisation solution appropriate to the project you're working on.

Your skills and expertise as a Data Analyst:

  • 3 years' commercial experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Being able to understand business challenges and adapt models to combat issues.
  • SQL Server Experience.
  • Python experience.
  • Web Analytics including Excel/Google Sheets/Tableau/Data Studio.
  • Understanding or interest with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Understanding of probability and statistics.

The salary for the Data Analyst is up to £40,000 per annum with real, attainable progression opportunities as well as autonomy from day one.
