Want to use technology for the greater good and combat climate change?

The Job:

I've partnered with a well-funded start-up that have created climate adaptation software as we continue to see the destructive effects of global warming. You will join their Central London team as a Data Engineer to reengineer and redesign how the business deliver their data to clients ensuring security, stability and speed.

They are open minded to the seniority of the role, but will expect you to have knowledge of web systems architecture, design, development, scaling out AWS platforms, be a proficient coder in Python AND have an interest in combatting climate change.

Experience required for the Data Engineer:

  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong Python programmer
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
  • Experience designing and architecting AWS
  • Start-up experience will be advantageous

The Data Engineering position can pay up to £80,000 (depending on previous experience) with interviews being lined up ASAP. This role comes with fantastic career progression with the scope to organically grow into a CTO as the business continues to scale globally. The interview and onboarding process will be done remotely, with flexibility around home-based working and office working to ensure you have the right support and aren't missing out on any opportunities for growth and your development.
