The Company:

The Role:

With offices based in Central London, this data-centric company are looking to add a Data Engineer to their incredibly talented tech team. Reporting into their CTO, you will be a key player bridging the gap between their technology and product team by being solely responsible for the development and optimisation of their data architecture.

As the sole Data Engineer, you will work closely with the entire tech team to assess and implement new data flows for ingesting and transforming data sources into their data platform while delivering future-proof data solutions. It will be your sole responsibility to implement testing methods for validating the quality of their data, how stable the platform is and looking after the alerting systems to remove errors that could occur across their datasets… A perfect position for an energetic and passionate Engineer looking to take their career to the next level working in a fast-paced start-up environment with an incredible support network and great learning and growth opportunities.

Your skills and experience as a Data Engineer:

  • 3+ years' Data Engineering experience
  • Experience handling large data sets
  • Python programming
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
  • E-commerce experience
  • High level communication skills (as you will need to work alongside/with multiple teams).
