The Role

The Data Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding data capabilities with The Dining Club Group. Driving transformation of our data capability is at the heart of our business strategy, as such we have huge plans to expand and improve our capability in this area. As the Data Architect you will be in key to the success of project, laying the foundations and implementing a data solution that allows the business to achieve its ambitious goals.

We are looking for someone who will be able to work with other parts of the business, particularly the data and insights team not only shaping requirements and designing solutions but also making recommendations based on emerging technology and trends.

This role is very much hands on, working closely with the CTO and Head of Engineering, we are looking for someone to design the successful architecture but then to implement and deliver this solution to the business. Using your knowledge of data engineering you will own the solution design and then build this from the ground up.

This is a role where you will be able to see the full lifecycle and own the entire project, you will really be able to see the system take shape and a be a key factor in the delivery of an industry leading solution.

This role would not need to be full time office based a few days remote per week is certainly a possibility.

The Dining Club Group would welcome all applications from Data Engineers and Architects for this role. We will certainly look at Data Engineers with some experience who are potentially looking to Architect their first solution from scratch but we would of course also welcome experience architects getting in touch.

You will be responsible for ensuring business value through innovative solutions. We will need you will take ownership and accountability for critical initiatives and deliverables both internally and for our clients. You will build and maintain valuable relationships and will have the ability to influence opinions and decisioning across clients and internal teams.
