Business Analyst - Ecommerce

This would be a creating new role, there is no legacy system to replace here, it is an entirely new platform and you would be working under a manager with strong pedigrees.

Oscar Technology are partnering with a high-growth tech firm based in Manchester that are continuing to expand their Product teams and are looking to add another Business Analyst to their team. The company are a wholesale business that are moving from single channels to multi-channel model and creating and launching their ecommerce platform.

You would be reporting directly to the Head of Ecommerce, ESL Managing Director, and the ESL Ecommerce platform project team. This role would be to deliver a digital transformation, using functional and non-functional requirements therefore designing how the website will look from a technical point of view. You would also look to establish a continuous improvement program for the Ecommerce platform that adds value post-launch.

Career Development

Business Analysts have several career paths available to them; the evolution of this role would naturally move into a Product Owner role for the right candidate.

Required experience

At least 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Commercially astute - helping project measures are met and kept to a budget
Experience of working on website builds and/or digital applications
Customer-focused while maintaining focus on the overall project as a whole
Good knowledge of Scrum
Good stakeholder management skills
Excellent consensus building skills

Nice to haves

PRINCE 2, Agile SCRUM/KANBAN qualifications

£40-45,000
