.NET Developer - Automotive Industry - C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, SQL

Oscar are partnering with a well recognised brand in the automotive industry, supporting their search for a .NET Developer, who will be working with their team to create a platform that is known as the best of the best in the automotive industry.

In what will be a multi-faceted role, you'll be working closely with your team to create a product that will be used daily by thousands of people that consider this product to be cutting edge. Your role could see you working across the full stack, from C#/SQL to an Angular front end.

Typical projects tend to be focused around building out new parts of the platform as business needs require. Allowing them to adapt to the ever changing automotive world and to create something very special going forward. This means no 2 sprints will ever look the same for you.

What they are looking for from you

First and foremost, the client is open to anybody who has experience with full stack development that is centred around .NET. Whilst any experience around the front end with JavaScript frameworks is considered massively beneficial, they just need you to have some knowledge of JavaScript. The core focus is on someone who's comfortable working in an Agile environment and growing across the full stack.

What people DO need to have is:-

  • A solid understanding/background in a full stack development role
  • Experience of working on/with web applications built using ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience using JavaScript, and ideally any form of JavaScript framework (eg Angular/React/VueJS)
  • A strong desire to work collaboratively - the team will be in the office 2 days per week after the lockdown based on the knowledge that they can work with each other to help each other grow.
  • A desire to build well written, clean code that can help the business grow for the future.
  • A desire to learn & grow within your role - there's always investment in learning and development here.
