Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the areas of general ledger, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and
conflict checks
- Preparation of annual operating and capital budgets
- Preparation of the monthly and annual financial closings
- Development of monthly financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet and
statement of cash flow
- Annually create and maintain a one-year cash forecast
- Maintain bank relationships and submit reports required by loan covenants
- Preparation and remittance of annual partnership tax form 1065 and accompanying Partner K-1's
- Preparation and remittance of quarterly Pittsburgh payroll tax expense
- Preparation of monthly departmental profitability reports
- Reconciliation of numerous general ledger balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Implementation and maintenance of internal controls
- Preparation of Partner performance reports for compensation consideration
- Conduct financial analysis and special reports upon request
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 7+ years of accounting managerial experience
- Tax preparation experience required; partnership tax preparation strongly preferred
- Professional services firm experience preferred
- CPA preferred
