New exciting opportunity to work in a small team in a busy and creative design studio!

Based just 8 miles outside Cardiff a bunch of designers, animators and developers are looking for someone to join their simulating creative environment.

The team are very dedicated to their work, with a varied and mixed skill set they are always sharing ideas and expertise in all areas of the business. If you have a passion to learn and an enthusiasm for new things then you'll fit right in.

The Role

  • Creation of CMS Wordpress website developments
  • using php, jquery and MYSQL (See Techical skills)
  • Client liaison and production management
  • Maintenance and upgrades of existing client websites
  • Maintenance and Management of company servers and the website
  • accounts on them (including monitoring /Maintenance out of hours /
  • weekends if required)

Working closely with the team you'll report directly with the creative directors. Your main duties will be about developing beautiful WordPress websites. New functions, features, adapting, updating and evolving existing ones with new functions and features!

You will help to research, code, build, test, and deploy a variety of WordPress websites with a range of innovative features.

No day is the same - you will also support and trouble-shoot existing client sites and respond to enquires while offering technical support!

The hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 with flexible hours considered.


  • Strong commitment to contribute from day one to the large number of ambitious projects we work on
  • Able to prioritise complex workloads and effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders from Directors Managers, Suppliers and Clients
  • Ideally you will have at least 3 years similar industry experience, degree level qualifications preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the WordPress CMS framework
  • (Utilising ACF within the build)
  • Proven record of working with PHP
  • Understanding and knowledge of development with Bootstrap 4
  • Working knowledge of web languages including HTML5, Jqery, CSS3
  • Third party API integration understanding and experience (JSON )
  • (We work with many venues across Wales with ticketing system api integrations -
  • examples include Spektrix, Ticketsolve, Ticketsource, Toptix)
  • Experience in using GIT or similar version control system
  • Experience of producing multi-lingual sites
  • An enthusiasm for Code, Styling and UX
  • Knowledge of Website deployment, DNS management, Linux Servers
  • Understanding of Jira workflow software or similar tools
