Head of Sales - SaaS - URGENT - Manchester City Centre (remote / flexible working available) - Salary up to £50,000 plus benefits - £100k+ OTE including 3 year commission plan

The Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales (SaaS) to join an award winning software solutions business based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. You'll work closely with the Global Head of Sales to open new doors for the business, maximising sales by utilising your existing network of contacts. You'll be an expert negotiator and have demonstrable previous experience of Software sales, selling a SaaS product or system to contact centre clients.

In this role you'll have complete autonomy, putting your own stamp on business development for the company. You'll arrange meetings/ demonstrations and get the opportunity to build a UK sales team around you as the business grows. Within the next 12 months you are expected to have 2-3 Business Development Managers working for you.

You will have a 3 year commission plan in place which means that when you secure a new client for the business you will receive 10% revenue over year 1, 5% over year 2 and 1% over year 3 - rather than just seeing the return on your hard work over the first year they want to give you that reward over a longer time period to motivate you and encourage you to push your earning potential further.

This will not just be selling one product and due to what they are offering in the market you will have a lot of variety in the nature of your role and will be able to offer prospective clients a unique service which is above and beyond their competitors.

It is not essential for you to be in the office in Manchester 5 days a week and as they really value relationships built on trust in the business so will allow you to work remotely and flexibly as long as you are getting the required results.

Head of Sales role requirements:

Essential experience -

  • Proven track record in Software Sales - previous experience in the contact centre/ call centre industry is essential ideally with contacts in this industry.
  • Strong experience of successful business development and networking to maximise sales.
  • Demonstrable experience of exceeding targets against plans, colleagues and previous months/years.
  • Excellent skills in negotiation, product demonstration and account management.
  • You must be a hard working individual who is self motivated and proactive.
  • UK Driving license
