The Role

A Windows, Networking, Active Directory, Servers ICT Helpdesk Engineer is urgently required for this opportunity with a leading education provider in the Bedford area. Reporting into the ICT Services and Innovations Manager, you will be part of a busy helpdesk team responsible for supporting around 1200 students and 200 staff. This is a perfect opportunity for an IT Technician who wants to gain exposure to a wide range of technology.

The Company

This School are rapidly moving towards an e-school approach with the ongoing development and implementation of Virtual Learning Environments, Websites, Parent and Pupil Portals, apps and Microsoft Office 365. There are currently over 550+ networked desktop and laptop computers all running Windows 7 and a full suite of applications are available on each machine which includes Adobe Creative Suite 6 and Microsoft Office 2010. The School also supports a range of other devices that include notebook/Chrome-books, a variety of tablet devices and Apple Mac computers.
