My client is looking for an experienced Information Security Lead to join the team on a 6-month contract. Details are of the contract are highlighted below:

Role: Information Security Lead

Duration: 6 months

Location: York - Remote

Day rate: £400 - £450

Start: 1 - 2 weeks

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and publicize the information security roadmap and policy standards
Custodian of the Information Security Risk and Issue Register whilst performing security risk assessments and risk management in conjunction with availability and IT service continuity management
Participating in engagements with appropriate industry bodies and other organisations as required to capture best practice and thought leadership
Development of security standards and baselines as well as drive policy compliance and enforcement in line with industry security standards
Supporting the Head of Infrastructure and Security in the security strategy and target operating model
Co-ordination and production of management reports for various stakeholders and governance forums.
Raising the awareness of Information Security across the technology teams and business colleagues
Responsible for owning and coordinating of all security and Penetration Testing activities whilst working with support teams to remediate any vulnerabilities identified
