What's in it for you?

Fed up of hearing that you've got no 'commercial experience'? Just done a boot camp and want to be trained up for a career in Software Development for life? Or, just completed a degree and want to be trained up amongst a highly skilled and talented team to become a really strong Full Stack Developer? You will get the opportunity to evolve and grow into a full stack .Net Developer position, alongside a talented team that will work with you to get you there. Full training programme in place, with walking evidence that it gets you to a strong level amongst the team! Before you know it, you will be working with the latest cutting-edge technologies (they use ASP.Net, C#, MVC and Azure) and be the Developer that you truly know that you can be- all you need to have, is a basic proficiency, a great personality and a lil' sprinkle of patience.

The Role

Your day to day responsibilities will vary everyday, often splitting your time right down the middle completing small development tasks and training, learning and R&D time. You will be a patient but persistent problem solver - with great attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator and a proactive individual. You should demonstrate clear ambition, desire and passion for web development- you only need at least a basic proficiency for this role! You should want to keep up and be knowledgeable of the latest tech trends in web, mobile and social.

  • Experience programming in an Object Orientated style (from small projects, to Uni projects, to a small portfolio- any of them will do).
  • Net, C# and MVC experience to some exposure.
  • Experience with Web Technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent attention to detail and patience in finding bugs
  • A hard-working and reliable attitude
  • Problem solving skills - creative and innovative

  • A degree, or knowledge of modern .Net frameworks is a great bonus.

In terms of projects that the team develop (which you will move on to), they have various products that the business has built from scratch, web applications, websites, personal content management systems and in-house modules. They utilise and specialise in the Microsoft Technology stack and are a recognised Microsoft Gold Partner. Although, these are skills that you will not need for this role - these are ones that you will learn along the way!

The Company

Part of the reason for the innovative and succeeding ways of this company is partly down to where they come from. They celebrate difference and everyone is from a unique and different background- some from different cultured and they all celebrate them in their own way. Contrasting backgrounds always bring fresh and new ideas and they are a lovable bunch that get on well, know that you spend most of your life at work and it is important to have FUN. They offer a collaborative work environment but dynamic and fast paced too- you'll never get bored here. They offer their team real flexibility in the way that they work from choosing their own equipment, to flexible start and finish times and remote working where needed. What's particularly unique about this company is the training that you will receive - not many companies can say that their developers come via their own internal training programme! You will get the opportunity to learn, succeed and become a talented developer that is up to speed with the latest technologies and trends. There is a clear plan for both those wanting to progress and those that want to be more involved with the wider business, making it a role where you can play a key part in everything and not just be 'another developer'.

A unique opportunity where you will be valued, no doubt excel and be considered as part of the family.
