The company:

An independently-owned, award-winning digital marketing agency based in Leicester. They work with around 50 clients from the UK and Europe, plus local and regional businesses based in the East and West Midlands. Around a third of their clients have retail and ecommerce businesses. However, for the vast majority of their clients, they provide lead generation services, across a range of high-tech industries and service sectors; aimed at other businesses (B2B) or consumers (B2C). They have won several industry awards, including the Grand Prix at the 2019 Drum UK Search Awards, and they are certified Google Premier Partners and part of the Facebook business Partner programme.

The opportunity:

As Paid Media Account Director, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation, and strategy across a portfolio of clients within your POD (multi-channel account team). You will be responsible for new client setups and it will be your role to ensure that these setups adhere to best practice. You will be pro-active in driving innovation and growth for your client portfolios, and continuously look for and report back on potential opportunities for each client.

What you will need

  • As a Paid Media Account Director, you will be able to show a proven track record for client success and account improvements across channels
  • You will have an advanced understanding of PPC, with in depth knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (search, shopping, display & video)
  • You should already be able to set-up and manage paid social campaigns in Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest (training will be provided on other channels where required)
  • You will be a clear and confident communicator, with experience in presenting strategies and results to clients and internal stakeholders
  • You will enjoy working as part of a team, and will have experience in delivering training and/or mentoring junior team members to help develop their skills
  • You will have a strong commitment to continue learning and honing your skills across Paid search, social and display
  • You will have a strong understanding and capability to run reports and fetch data from Google Analytics. You will also be confident in creating goals, events, conversion points, audiences and new segments
  • You will be confident in using Google Data Studio to create reports and analyse performance data
  • You will have a working understanding of Google Tag Manager for the use of installing tracking tags and pixels
