The Role

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Platform Engineer (PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript + NodeJS) with a highly established and well-known business within the UK to join them on their journey of technological inquisition in the Ecommerce market. As a Platform Software Engineer, You will be working in a Platform Team and will play an integral part in the development and maintenance of 'the' bespoke software which is used by global leading retailers. You will create solutions through trial and error, to ensure that you are using the latest and most cutting-edge technologies and being 'the best of the best'. With a designated point of contact and a supportive team culture, you will be trained to deliver services in conjunction with the company processes. Within a diverse team in terms of skillset, you are sure to be constantly learning and evolving as a professional- reaching solutions to problems through various evaluations in terms of experience. As a Platform Engineer (PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript + NodeJS), you will be expected to fully integrate yourself within the company and share innovative ideas to the projects when appropriate and excel expectations.

Role Requirements:

  • PHP commercial experience (PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript + NodeJS)
  • You must be able to communicate complex technical solutions to varying audiences.
  • Have a conscientious attitude to work and high attention to detail.
  • Be a team player.
  • Manage tasks and time effectively.
  • Constantly learn and adapt to new approaches and technologies.
