Process Improvement Analyst - LEAN / Automation / RPA
Oscar Recruitment are recruiting a Business Process Improvement Analyst to work for us! This is not a role for one of our clients, but an important position that we have created within our business, that will play a vital role in identifying efficiencies throughout our business.
Over the last 2 years, Oscar has doubled to around 180 employees split between the UK & the USA and our objective is to double again by 2025. In order to have a scalable model to support this growth, we need find efficiencies in everything that we do, across our recruitment / fee earners, to our Back Office functions.
We've won a number of awards included successive appearances on Best Companies to work for lists, initially on Small Business List before upgrading to the Medium Companies lists in 2022.

A little about this role
As our global Recruitment population grows, we need to ensure that Back Office functions have robust practices and technology in place to handle the increased workload that a larger fee earning population creates. In addition, the Recruitment population works with a Recruitment Industry specific CRM platform that runs on Dynamics 365.
Your role will report into our Operations Director but will essentially be a stand alone position. You will work closely to stakeholders in various business areas to map out processes and then look at how those processes can be simplified. Some are already mapped to meet our ISO9001 Quality obligations, but the majority need mapping.
Some processes may well be shortened simply but cutting out inefficient steps, but you'll also explore other options such as Automation, whether that be using off-the-self software or even something such as Robotic Process Automation.
Ultimately, it will involve exploring interactions between the Front & Back Office functions and where things can be improved to support each other.
In addition, you'll explore how the business gathers data, reports and how this can be used to improve decisioning making, both by SLT but also by frontline teams.
Your role will be to discover and then advise & influence how we will improve.
What experience & skills that you will need
- You have previous experience in a Process Improvement, Business Process Analyst or Business Analyst role.
- Experience of process mapping & design.
- Experience in a Sales-led or Fee Earning business.
- Experience with Visio, plus other MS Office products.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce or similar.
- Experience of LEAN process improvement.
- A good understanding of automation, both using software packages and ideally RPA.
- Must be self-motivated, with a good sense of humour.
Hybrid working with 3 days a week based in our Manchester HQ
May involve some travel, including to the USA
