The Role

A Process Workstream Lead to work on a 6 month Contract with a Public Sector body based in Central London. This contract will fall within IR35, so contracting through an Umbrella Company is recommended.

The role is for an immediate start.

The Process Workstream Lead will be responsible for maintaining and updating an overall process hierarchy and wider process architecture for Marketing, building on the top level developed in this phase. The lead should work with the leaders in each area to ensure high-priority processes required for transition (e.g. budget setting and management process) are documented, providing content input where relevant

Process Workstream Lead Role Requirements

Whilst recognising the need for flexibility, specific responsibilities are likely to include the following:

  • Work with the leaders in each area to ensure high-priority processes required for transition (e.g. budget setting and management process) are documented, providing content input where relevant
  • Ensure linkages between processes that impact more than one area are understood, managed and integrated where appropriate (e.g. between Marketing Strategy, Region and SBU)
  • Co-ordinate the development of the business calendar so that it aligns key organisation wide meetings and deadlines that are identified in the processes (for marketing and the wider organisation) and feed into the planning process
  • Ensure linkages between processes and other areas are understood, managed and integrated where appropriate (e.g. between planning process at all levels)
  • Work with the leaders to help embed the processes successfully in their teams
  • Key point of contact for all process improvement work, generating support for change and promoting a continuous improvement culture
  • Manage the stakeholder engagement and communications plans with regard to the workstream
  • Ensure that the expected benefits are tracked and reported
  • Provide input into the process improvement methodology to ensure it is fit for purpose for the region(s) and its particular/specific challenges.
  • Educate senior managers and HR team members on the approach/methodology, generating support and demonstrating the tools and techniques which can be applied to business problems to deliver efficiencies.
  • Ensure that all processes are underpinned by the client's values and promote equal opportunities and diversity within the organisation
