Brand new Product Manager role (AGILE) - £58,000 - Bristol - Hybrid Remote / office based role
A Bristol-based organisation are embarking on a period of exponential growth due to the success of their products. This is truly an exciting opportunity to get involved with a savvy start-up (already 100 man strong), who have identified a gap in the market and as a result, are revolutionising its industry as they catalyst with their products.
Following its success over the last few months and due to demand of their existing products, they have decided to bring all of their development team in house and form multiple product teams, which you as a Product Manager be a part of. In short, the software currently being utilised, is struggling to keep up with the current demand - so the plan is to break down the existing platform and build it right back up again. As a Product Manager, you will maximise the value and quality of the product resulting from work of the development team. You will work within the SRUM team, and own the prioritisation of tasks and creation of the product to ensure that development work is completed and delivers what its supposed to for the client.
You responsibilities will consist of working in the Product team, maximising the quality and value of the product roadmap. You will take Managership of the prioritisation and creation of the product backlog, ensuring that all development work is delivers the highest possible value to the client. You work will mainly consist of gathering requirements and translating them into Epics, Features and User Stories, working with the team to run sprint features and liaising directly with the Head of Product on various aspects to assist improving the delivery of the product. You will also drive and improve UX/UI standards.
- Previous Product Manager/Owner experience
- In depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development practices
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
