My retail client, based in Birmingham, require a Project Manager for an initial 10month contract. The main programme of work is around migrating their website; this has now created an opportunity within the Multichannel department.

The client require a candidate with very strong project management skills developed within a fast paced multichannel environment. The successful candidate also must have experience of multiple work streams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare project scope and requirements documentation
  • Manage multiple work streams and create and circulate supporting documentation
  • Project planning
  • Estimate time and budget spend per project
  • Create strong and effective working relationships with 3rd Parties, and internal stakeholders
  • Make sure project requirements are understood by all stakeholders
  • Highlight to key stakeholders the impact on quality, budget and deadlines of any changes to project
  • Communicate project progress and key milestones to the senior team
  • Prioritise and manage project workload for The Works and any other 3rd party
  • Involvement in Test plans and manage the end to end test process

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Project management experience in a fast paced multichannel retail environment, preferably relating to Salesforce implementations
  • Working experience around delivering eCommerce projects
  • Strong knowledge around project methodologies - Waterfall, Agile and specifically Kanban or similar
  • Good technical understanding around technical frameworks and infrastructure - web ecosystem
  • Experience of maintaining effective relationships with all levels of the business and 3rd parties


  • Working knowledge with Salesforce Commerce and Service Cloud
  • A business/IT degree would be preferable but is not essential
  • An understanding of website architecture topology
