QA Test Engineer

This market leading company are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Test Engineer to take up an exciting new role within the team where you will be involved in manual testing but will also have the opportunity to support the team with automation testing when required.

As a QA Test engineer, you will use both your manual and automation testing skills to help them move towards a culture of Bug Prevention. You will collaborate daily with software engineers to support them with testing new features and help provide reliable stable builds. You will execute regression tests to validate that changes do not adversely affect the systems, replicate bugs, and liaise with the development team, assisting with bug fixing and the creation of test plans and test scripts for manual execution.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

• An ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level qualification/or equivalent

• Excellent technical skills and understanding of the software testing lifecycle

• At least 3 years' manual testing experience and 1 year's experience of Automation with Java and Selenium

• Experience in using JUnit, Cucumber & Maven

• Experience of testing web client applications

• Ability to create test scripts scenarios from User stories and able to create bugs and liaise with colleagues to determine priority/severity

• Experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be desirable
