The role…

This is a fantastic opportunity to take that step up with a team of multi-talented digital specialists, who are continuing to tear up their space and continue on their missions to help businesses with their expertise in carrying out digital transformations as a Head of Product. In this role, you will be an evangelist for product management and deliver successful outcomes for the business and their clients.

As a Head of Product, you will be primarily responsible for a number of projects during the role and your time there although your main responsibility when you join will be managing a complete overhaul and digital transformation within the UK government, from start to finish. This client have been chosen to do this - run with it! It will be YOURS. You will be responsible for all the exciting stuff from the product processes and everything from the data, the tech, the organisation design, the business processes and the people that sit underneath you. You will be an AGILE enthusiast - be confident in Product Management processes and senior enough to coach and mentor other members of the staff in the role and provide your expertise for them to learn from.

This will be a greenfield project from the ground up where you have the say so in absolutely everything - grabbing the bull by the horns, utilising your expertise and knowledge in the industry to push on, make a difference and take the charge where your passion lies. Note; this role is also open to Senior Product Managers. The most important requirement is that you have owned project management in a role previously.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creating product strategies and roadmaps for clients
  • Lead the end-to-end SDLC- discovery, alpha, beta and CI phases
  • Collaborate with different teams of consultants, analysts, 3rd parties and more
  • AGILE/waterfall/ hybrid approach (depending on the need)
  • Running delivery ceremonies
  • Build a pipeline of opportunity, win and deliver on projects
  • Engaging senior stakeholders and service teams
  • Guiding the team and identifying and overcoming issues
  • Approving user stories, sprint plans and deliverables

As well as this main project, their ultimate aim is to develop their own digital products. They have ideas which they would love to grow and get going!

This role is a mainly remote position now, and post covid. The ideal candidate will be somewhere along the M4 corridor (Bristol or Wales area) which is where their largest clients are based.
