The Role

Oscar Technology is exclusively partnered with one of the largest and fastest growing Renewable Energy companies in the US on successfully finding a Senior Network Engineer to join their team.

This position will be the Lead Network Engineer working with a team of 10. This is an on-site position in Houston, Texas. 77010

Our client values hard working, flexibility, and supports remote working. You will have the freedom to work from home, however, must be willing to be in the office when and as needed.

This is a full time, salaried position offering $115,000 - $125,000 K base. Additional benefits include, PTO, 401K, benefits, guaranteed bonus, early Friday finishes, and possible relocation for those open to moving to Houston, Texas.

Senior / Lead Network Engineer

Minimum of 5 years providing Network Engineer Support
Strong Networking foundation: TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, VPN, packet filtering, firewalls, VLAN's, packet capture and analysis, QOS and NAT configuration
Must have extensive experience with configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routing protocols BGP and OSPF
Must have a strong Cisco R/S background
Must have Cisco ASA Firewall- configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting in routed mode (failover configuration, complex NAT configuration, routing protocols, VLAN trunking, etc.)
Juniper or Checkpoint experience a plus
Certifications are a plus - CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIA, CCSA, CCSE, etc
Experience working in an MSP / ISP environment a plus
Strong Networking foundation: TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, VPN, packet filtering, firewalls, VLAN's, packet capture and analysis, QOS and NAT configuration
