The IT Role

In the role of a Senior PHP Developer, you will be working alongside other developers, product managers and a Data & Operations manger to deliver the companies technology strategy.

Required Skills / Experience in

  • 5 Years PHP
  • PHP MVC Frameworks
  • OOSD (Object Oriented Software Design) and Design Patterns
  • Designing and consuming REST API's
  • Unit testing and test-driven development
  • Working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Used tools like JIRA, Confluence (wiki), etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Have used or have knowledge of NOSQL database systems.
  • We want innovative thinkers and problem solvers.
  • To be able to create unit tests, code reviews and working with 3rd party code

Desirable skills

  • Yii / Phalcon PHP Frameworks
  • To be able to understand design and implementation of high-availability, Distributed fault tolerant applications
  • To be familiar with DevOps / Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Ansible or equivalent
  • To have used or know about cloud infrastructure technologies (especially AWS)
  • To have used Linux administration
  • To be aware of Service Oriented Architecture methodology.
  • If you have done some database administration that would be fantastic
  • To have had experience in integration of different technologies
  • Being dedicated in staying up to date with the latest developments and technologies
