The Role

In this position you would be managing the end user computing team from 1st line throug to 3rd line service desk analysts, within a fast paced ITIL environment. As the Service Desk Manager, you will work closely with other IT teams and report to the Head of Service, responsible for major incident management and implementing change to maximise value for clients. As part of the role you will also be responsible for conducting 121s, looking after colleagues' progress, and developing relationships between clients, stakeholders and colleagues across the business. This is a varied position that will require strong people skills and a positive attitude as you work to uphold SLA's and provide monthly reports on productivity and team effort across the service desk.

Essential experience

  • Atleast 2 years in a Managerial/Team Lead role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in an MSP environment/ITIL service desk setting
  • Familiarity with cloud management/Office 365 (Sharepoint, Intune, Exchange, Azure AD)

Desirable

  • ITIL certification
  • Microsoft certification
  • Major incident management exposure
  • Hands on service desk/engineer background
