Service Manager

My client, based in Central London, are looking for a Service Manager with vast working experience artound service management and service managerment within the finance sector.


  • Deliver service management practices and rigor in relation to mobile applications
  • Work with third party vendor app providers to deliver service metrics and service tracking
  • Improve overall service experience relating to mobile applications
  • Work with internal application development teams to ensure applications have appropriate service management principles in place
  • Work with Application product managers to improve overall application landscape and define future state
  • Improvement knowledge management
  • Application incident and problem management
  • Definition of continuous improve plans for all mobile applications
  • Create reporting, telemetry and governance process to support application management
  • Work to standardise Application terms of service and user policies
  • Leading the creation of an ongoing application review process and feed into product management roadmap


  • Bachelor's degree minimum in Computer Science/IT or equivalent work experience
  • Previous working experience in a major Financial Services institution essential
  • Experience in service management in a large global organisation
  • Certified ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Design Thinking
  • Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
  • Strong experience managing multiple relationships in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels
  • Working knowledge of configuration management framework
  • Performance-driven team player with an excellent attitude
