The Company

Oscar have worked with this client exclusively for years and have made a number of placements within their development and data teams. We have a new role available for a Database Developer (SQL), this position is really focussed on the optimisation and development of their databases, focussing on their ETL pipelines and processes to improve their overall reporting capabilities.

*** The role is offered on a completely remote basis, but candidates do need to be UK based. Unfortunately at this time, they cannot provide sponsorship. ***

The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team, they currently have a large amount of their Data team set up in the US and are looking to build up their UK team. Therefore you will be one of the first SQL Developers in the UK, allowing you to work with the line manager to eventually build out the team and progress your career.

Responsibilities

* Troubleshooting current and working on ETL processes and pipelines
* Planning and building the infrastructure
* Experience with SQL scripting, stored procedures and optimisation
* Developing the data warehousing capabilities
* Extracting data from SQL databases

Requirements

* SQL
* SSIS
* AWS / AWS Postgres knowledge or experience desired
