ServiceNow Developer
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our client's team in Newark, NJ, working in a hybrid capacity with 2 days onsite and the remainder remote. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness in supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) functions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications, workflows, forms, and integrations in ServiceNow.
- Configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM to meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, integrations, and customizations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, patches, and new features, and evaluate their applicability to our environment.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party ServiceNow applications and integrations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and security.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- US Citizenship required.
