Everyone that joins Oscar without previous experience of the recruitment industry enrols into our School of Excellence, a leading-edge programme designed to develop consultants who can add value to our business. It covers the full recruitment process and is delivered in-house by a combination of our Training Manager, Directors, and senior staff to ensure that a Subject Matter Expert achieves maximum engagement in line with each individual’s goals.
The programme is modular, with all modules having three key components:
• Theory. Not just how we do what we do, but why!
• Closed practice. A chance to test your newly found knowledge with a quiz or a roleplay with colleagues in the safe and constructive environment of our training rooms.
• Practical application. The delivery of the skill-set to the real world, with a manager by your side for help at all times and the ability for you to listen to your more established peers in action.
Oscar Technology takes great pride in developing homegrown talent, with around 90% of our current recruitment team initially joining us as with no experience and progressing up through the company structure to reside at all levels of the career ladder.
