Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a dynamic technology transformation team. This role offers the opportunity to architect and build enterprise-scale solutions using Salesforce as the core platform, integrated with various cloud technologies and third-party systems. You'll be working on high-impact projects that directly influence business operations and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex Salesforce applications and customizations to meet evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Create detailed technical specifications and architecture documentation
• Lead development efforts following established SDLC methodologies and best practices
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware
• Conduct comprehensive testing including unit, integration, and performance testing
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
• 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
• Expert proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), and Visualforce
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP web services and API integrations
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification strongly preferred
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity) platform
• Knowledge of middleware integration platforms
• Financial services or insurance industry background
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Additional Salesforce certifications (Admin, Architect, etc.)
