The Company

The company is a multidisciplinary service provider to the construction industry. They work throughout the project lifecycle to support our clients in achieving building sustainability and compliance with regulation and are a sole provider to deliver building compliance and environmental sustainability consultancy.

The in-house software development team that creates mobile data capture tools and provides data analysis services to a range of clients.

The Role

They are looking for a .NET Developer to join their in-house development team. Whilst this role is fully remote, an option to work in their Wakefield office is also available. You will need to plan, design, develop, code, test and maintain software systems/applications for software enhancements and new products with good coding practices, to support our energy assessors and auditing teams.

Salary: up to £50,000

Working Pattern: Fully Remote

Key Skills

The role would suit a good communicator who is passionate about software development and can work well both independently and part of a team.

They are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • ASP.NET
  • MySQL/SQL Server
  • Front end skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
  • Visual Studio, .NET Framework above 3.5, using LINQ, OOPS

The following skills are desirable (but there will be chance to learn them):

  • Experience in Blazor development with a preference on web assembly
  • Knowledge of Xamarin framework
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Experience of source control using git
  • Interaction using APIs preferred
  • Understanding of software development methodologies
