Office Assistant/ Admin

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our growing recruitment business as an Office Assistant/Admin. This role will report into our Operations & Payroll Manager and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn all areas of office management.

Location: 945 Bunker hill Rd, Houston, TX, 77024,

Rate: $12-$15 Per hour + Benefits

Office hours: Standard Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on Fridays

The Role:

Office Administrative Assistant, day to day running of the office under the guidance of the Oscar leadership team. The daily tasks will include assisting in dealing with office suppliers, filing, printing, assisting in employee and sub-contractor on-boarding, contractor care and payroll.

  • Mail management daily
  • Assist in credit card expenditure and ensuring detailed records are maintained.
  • Assist with travel bookings - car, hotel, air.
  • Assist with ad hoc duties such as staff cell phone management, office, and kitchen supplies.
  • Manage monthly staff birthdays and anniversaries.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll duties.
  • Assist with email management.

  • Proven track record of demonstrating, a strong work-ethic, Attention to detail, & willing to learn.
  • Interest in learning a new system platform (Strong IT knowledge).
  • Eagerness to learn and the ability to implement feedback through training.
  • Excellent rapport and communication skills.
