My client are looking for a Programme Manager to work on digitally enhancing and updating processes and tools that support the operation of the delivery function.

The client expect the Programme Manager to come in and oversea ongoing delivery and embedding of various tools to support the department's in their aim to seamlessly connect a set of digital tools creating a unified process for our central delivery function.

Below is an overview of the tools that the client will be involved with -

  • PowerPlatform development to provide process, business and project data management application to support the operation of the delivery function within the core of the department.
  • Experience of MS product suite
  • Implementation of a procured PPM tool (Verto) for a vast number of Project Managers across a number of core projects to help them deliver better approaches to Risk and Benefit Management.
  • An Online Reporting Tool, based on SharePoint and SQL database that is mature and in BAU use.

Key Responsibilities will include -

  • Programme management including planning, reporting, risk, issue and dependency management.
  • Establishment and operation of governance of the programme aligning with and recognising differences in approaches and maturity levels across different parts of the business.
  • Addressing risks and issues with accountable owners escalating where required.
  • Working with accountable and responsible owners to review scope and plans ensuring they will deliver the intended objectives and outcomes including development of interim milestones.
  • Quality assuring the activities and deliverables across the programme providing directly or identifying other resources to support or coach to ensure success.
  • Identifying when and what type of critical senior interventions are required to drive success and with the sponsor.
  • Liaising with teams at multiple levels of the organisation through SMEs, operational managers, third parties, senior management and directors.
