The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and creative project delivery manager to join an award-winning company, in its specialist industry with over 25 years' industry experience. Due to the nature of what they do, their team has catapulted over the last 6 months - taking their business from strength to strength. As a project delivery manager, you will be joining a talented delivery team of 4. Your key role will be to support multiple development teams in the planning and delivery of a high-quality product.

As a project delivery manager, you will have an expert knowledge in both SCRUM and Kanban delivery methods and will have previous experience in delivering projects using these and you will also have a thorough understanding of them. You will manage one or two scrum teams made up of developers and QA's, working with them and a product owner and tech lead to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered.

You will champion AGILE as the role has a SCRUM Master focus and you coach and mentor the team on AGILE best practices. You will facilitate ceremonies and drive delivery within the team. Ceremonies will have a positive and proactive nature - with a focus on continuous improvements. This will be a hybrid role. On occasions, you may need to call upon your project management skills when delivering third party solutions. You will ensure that teams are motivated, collaborative and feel empowered. You will stay at the height of the industry with this business - as they are constantly looking to improve and offer a positive working environment. As a result of this, you will continue to add skills to your bag and never get bored!

  • Responsible for multiple teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborative, and empowered to self-organise.
  • Identify obstacles and support the team to overcome any blockers or impediments.
  • Work with Product Managers to help refine the backlog against business priorities.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring they are positive and productive with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Channel agile best practices and utilise their associated frameworks, adapting as required.
  • Coach and mentor the team and wider business on agile best practices.
  • Write and manage project plans including risks, mitigations, budgets, and timelines when appropriate.
  • Managing relationships with third party suppliers.
  • Communicate between the various delivery teams and key stakeholders - internal and external.


  • Prior delivery experience in an agile environment.
  • Experience of facilitating agile ceremonies.
  • Experience of working with development teams.
  • Experience working across full product development lifecycle.
  • Experience of working across different teams with competing priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to coach agile best practices within your team and to the wider business.
  • Ability to draw upon a variety of techniques to cultivate high performing teams.
  • Enthusiastic about creating the opportunity for continuous improvement.
