Sales Director - SaaS - Brooklyn, New York

  • 100% managerial position - no individual revenue contribution required
  • 3-4 days per week developing your team in the office in Brooklyn

Candidate Requirements:

- Commutable distance to Brooklyn

- 2+ years' experience leading a team of "Closers" (Account Executives)

- Solid employment tenure (at least 2 years within current or previous employer)

- Empathetic, consultative selling style (you'll be selling to caring individuals within the nonprofit sector)

- "Educated Seller" (experience with complex deals with 2-3 months+ typical negotiation cycles)

Compensation:

- $120,000 - $130,000 base salary

- $240,000 - $260,000 OTE

- 9,000 equity shares

Interview Process (3 stages):

- 30 minute telephone interview with VP

- 90 minute "in-office" interview with VP and BDR Team Manager

- Meet the team of Account Executives that you will be leading

Company Information:

- Well-established provider of software (SaaS) which connects nonprofits with donors

- Series A seed business with investment for growth

- 80 employees currently (an increase in 32 during the last 12 months)

Role Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the VP

- Leading a team of four Account Executives

- Objective to grow the team to seven Account Executives by the end of the year

- Opportunity for career growth into a Sr. Sales Director in 2023

- 100% leadership position with NO individual revenue contribution required

- The Account Executives whom you will manage do the following:

  • Sell to nonprofit organizations $20m+ in revenue
  • Sell with a consultative, "educated' negotiation style
  • Deal sizes range between $5k-$15k for SMB, $15k-$100k for Mid-Market, and $100k+ for Enterprise customers
  • Each Account Executive has a monthly "new logo" quota of 5 deals
  • The Sales Director is paid commission as a % of every deal their team wins
