    Position: Vice President of Operations
    Location: Flexible within service territory; some travel required
    Reports To: CEO/President

    Overview:
    The Vice President of Operations will oversee all operational aspects of power and utility services, including O&M execution, project delivery, safety performance, financial oversight, and customer satisfaction. This leader will ensure operational excellence across multiple sites, manage cross-functional teams, and drive strategic growth initiatives in line with company objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead day-to-day operations for all O&M and field service activities across multiple power/utility sites.

    • Oversee project execution for maintenance, outage planning, commissioning support, and reliability programs.

    • Manage operational budgets, P&L accountability, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency and profitability.

    • Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; act as a key point of escalation for major operational issues.

    • Drive operational best practices, workforce development, and process standardization across teams.

    • Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and new business integration efforts.

    • Collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, and HR on staffing, training, and talent development.

    Qualifications:

    • 10-15 years in power generation, utilities, or industrial O&M leadership roles.

    • Proven experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.

    • Strong background in safety compliance, budget/P&L management, and customer relations.

    • Experience with power plants, substations, transmission/distribution, or similar assets.

    • Ability to travel 25-50% as required.

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
